Trekking in the area is popular, so visitors can trek to some of its most impressive destinations, such as the Huchuy Qosqo, Maras, and the Salkantay or Inca Trail.

The city of Cusco has much to offer visitors beyond its archaeological and natural beauty. From the colourful nightlife of San Blas and the charming Barrio de San Blas, an area full of colonial style houses, to its captivating colonial architecture and gastronomical delights, Cusco is a destination of wonder and marvel. At the bustling local markets you can pick up traditional jewelry and textiles, as well as sample some local delicacies, like ceviche, street food and much more.
