“Exploring the Magic of Dubai: A City of Wonders.”

For a city barely two-hundred and fifty years old, Dubai has made a remarkable transformation from a small desert trading village into an awe-inspiring metropolis. Perched on the Arabian Gulf, Dubai boasts some of the world’s most impressive modern and traditional architecture; an eclectic blend of futuristic buildings and ancient souks, gleaming skyscrapers, stunning Islamic architecture and a myriad of new opportunities. From its famous seven start hotels to its shopping malls, theme parks and stunning beaches, Dubai is a destination for those seeking for something unique and extraordinary.

Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a returning guest, a visit to Dubai will leave you spell-bound and with memories to last a lifetime. From the effervescent old souks to the glittering malls and towering skyline, there’s plenty to discover and explore. Ancient souks, including the famous Gold Souk and Spice Souk, still form the basis of shopping in Dubai, and at their edges is the modern world – world-class malls with the latest in designer home ware and fashion, with glass encased ice rinks, modern fountains, full-scale rollercoasters, snaking waterslides, luxury boutiques and sprawling food courts.

The beaches of Dubai offer a perfect place for leisure, with plenty of sun beds, umbrellas and watersport activities up for grabs. The iconic Jumeirah Beach is a great spot for swimming and sunbathing, while the more adventurous may want to try their luck at kiteboarding and wakeboarding. From Jumeirah Beach, visitors can also take in views of the iconic Burj Al Arab, the first 7-star hotel in the world.

Dubai is also an entertainment powerhouse, from its internationally acclaimed theme parks to some of the best restaurants, music and nightlife in the Middle East. Dubai is home to the biggest shopping mall in the world, the Dubai Mall, as well as motocross tracks, go-cart tracks and obstacle courses. Outdoor activities abound too: you can go sandboarding and desert dune bashing, seaplane excursions, downhill skiing, indoor rock climbing and much more. Then of course, there’s the world-famous Dubai Fountain, the largest choreographed fountain system to music, and The Dubai Frame, the largest frame in the world standing at 150m tall in Zabeel Park.

All in all Dubai is the quintessential destination and there’s something to suit every taste and budget. Visit to experience the past and marvel at the newest offerings from the world’s most innovative city. Dubai is home to dozens of events throughout the year, from the annual Dubai Shopping Festival to the glitzy Dubai International Film Festival and the Dubai Jazz Festival. And that’s why a visit to Dubai must be on top of any traveller’s list of places to see.
