“Welcome to Bangkok: The Ultimate Guide to the “City of Angels”.

Sitting upon the Chao Phraya River, Bangkok has long been known as the City of Angels; the grand and opulent capital of the country of Thailand. The city has been a major hub since ancient times and remains at the forefront of new trends and world development. While the top Bangkok attractions draw many of the city’s visitors, what makes Bangkok so enticing is that there’s so much to do and see in the city as well. From cultural and spiritual temples and monuments to historical sites, glorious restaurants, and plenty of chic cafes with unparalleled tastes, all within the city.

One of the best ways to explore Bangkok is by exploring the majestic Bangkok Grand Palace, which stands grand and tall about the city; this complex is the official residence to the King of Thailand. This palace is over two centuries old and features incredibly ornate Thai art and architecture from all of the times. You can also explore the Wat Phra Kaew within the Grand Palace, which contains the Emerald Buddha, a revered religious symbol of Thailand.

The nearby temple of Wat Arun also offers one of Bangkok’s most mesmerizing views. It stands Temple of the Dawn and is named for the figurative and literal dawning of a new era of Buddhism. From the top of the temple, visitors can get a one of a kind view across the Chao Phraya River. For another incredible view, head to Bangkok’s Chinatown and you can get incredible views of the city and river even on a hot day while wandering the maze of street vendors and food stalls.

The city is full of massive shopping malls, especially in the Pratunam neighborhood. Here, you’ll find over 40 themed shopping malls and districts as well as several night markets. Pratunam is great for tourists looking for clothing, accessories, and cheap souvenirs. For those looking for a more modern shopping experience, there are plenty of upscale malls; for example, the Siam Paragon and Siam Centre malls offer a larger range of luxury, designer clothes and popular cosmetic brands.

For fine dining in stunning settings, Bangkok offers plenty of Michelin-Starred restaurants and award-winning eateries. From French to Japanese and Chinese cuisines to Thai and Italian, the city has something for every palate. One of the most unique experiences, however, is being able to watch a show in a traditional Thai theatre. Bangkok is home to some of the world’s most amazing performance art, from traditional Khon dancing to modern-day dance performances.

No matter what your interests are, Bangkok can offer something for everyone. From its amazing culture and art to its delicious food and entertainment, there is no shortage of things to do and see in this stunning city. That’s why it’s so important to plan your trip wisely, and take the time to truly appreciate the beauty of this city that never sleeps.
